Event Details
The 2019 Arizona State Cornhole Championship will be hosted at Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This event is OPEN to all Arizona residents. We are offering multiple skill level divisions so that you can play at the perfect level of competition. There will be food and beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, available. No outside food or drinks are allowed. A portion of the proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Ability360 Wheelchair Basketball team.

At this family-friendly event, we will be offering FIFTEEN different cornhole tournaments for all levels of players, ranging from the true beginners to the most experienced players. Read about the different levels and events below. Intermediate and advanced division tournaments are OPEN TO ALL AZ RESIDENTS.

Parking is free. Use the parking garage off Washington St. entrance.
Event Admission
There is a $7/guest admission fee ($5 online) for ALL PLAYERS AND GUESTS over the age of 12. It's a one-time admission fee, good for both days of the event, and is separate from tournament entry fees. 100% of the admission fee goes to Ability360. You can purchase a wrist band online prior to the event for only $5 and will cover both days. Wrist bands will be provided and must be worn during the event. Children 12 & under and Ability360 members are FREE. All cornhole participants get a 2019 Arizona State Championship t-shirt as part of their registration fees.

Tournament Format
Singles
All singles events are double elimination tournaments. You will play one game against your opponent throughout the tournament. 2 games guaranteed. Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 divisions will be seeded based on ACL Singles Rankings.
Doubles
Tier 1 doubles tournaments will be TWO STAGE tournaments. Stage 1 is Round Robin where you will play 4 games against your different opponents. Results from Stage 1 will seed the top 16 teams into Stage 2 Single Elimination tournament. 4 game guaranteed.
Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 doubles tournaments will be double elimination. You will play one game against your opponent. 2 games guaranteed. Seeding is based on ACL Overall Rankings.
Mixed Division tournament will be TWO STAGE tournaments. Stage 1 is Round Robin where you will play 4 games against your different opponents. Results from Stage 1 will seed the top 16 teams into Stage 2 Single Elimination tournament. 4 game guaranteed.
Junior* and High School Division tournament format are TBD depending on the number of teams. 4 games guaranteed.

Crew Cup
The Crew Cup is a balanced blind draw format. All teams will be randomly drawn based on skill level. Once registration has closed, players will be rated with an A, B, C or D. Each list of names will then be randomly sorted into teams of four with each team having one player from the A, B, C and D lists. Teams will then compete in a TWO STAGE tournament. Stage 1 is Round Robin where you will play 4 games against your different opponents. Results from Stage 1 will seed the top portion of teams into Stage 2 Single Elimination tournament. 4 games guaranteed.
Tournament Entry Fees
Entry fees include admission into the event and a 2019 Arizona State Cornhole Championship event T-Shirt (one per player).

Tournament Prizes
Over 70 players will win cash and prizes (trophies and champion jerseys) and every player will get a commemorative event t-shirt as part of your entry fee at the 2019 Arizona State Cornhole Championships! Championship Jerseys will be awarded to the champions at the 4th Annual East vs West event in September.
- Advanced level divisions will approximately 80-85% payout through a combination of cash prizes, event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies.
- Competitive level divisions will be near 65-70% payout through a combination cash prizes, event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies.
- Developing level divisions will be near 50-55%-% payout through a combination cash prizes, event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies.
- Beginner level divisions will payout through a combination event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies. There are NO CASH prizes for the beginner level divisions.
- Specialty events like Crew Cup, Women's singles, and Senior Singles will have a 70-75% payout through a combination cash prizes, event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies.
- Mixed Doubles, Junior and High School divisions will payout through event t-shirts, championship jerseys and trophies. There are NO CASH prizes for these divisions.
- AZ Copper Club tournament: Each player gets free entry and an AZ Copper Club t-shirt. The winning team will split $200.
