The 2025 Arizona State Cornhole Championships (AZSCC) returns, bigger than ever, with five days of events spanning April and July! Our first stop is the AZSCC Scholastic Event on April 13, hosted by EduPrize School - Gilbert Campus (www.eduprize.com/gilbert). The event will feature 13U Youth and High School divisions, as well as a parent-child competition. Any Arizona student in the class of 2025 or later is eligible to compete. Full details are available at arizonastatecornholechampionships.com.
Highlighting the event will be four-time youth State Champion, runner-up in the 2024 Mixed Doubles Championship and the 2024 Arizona Female Player of the Year, Minabella “Mina” Woods. At 14, Mina is making waves in the cornhole community. After relocating to Arizona with her family, and having spent a decade in New Mexico, she began playing cornhole with her father, and her passion for the sport quickly grew. In just over a year and a half, Minabella has established herself statewide, earning recognition for her skills and dedication. She cherishes the sport for the opportunities it provides to meet new people, forge friendships, and bond with her father, who often partners with her in competitions. Beyond the cornhole boards, Minabella is an avid BTS fan, attends church on Sundays, and loves wearing her chicken costume whenever she gets the chance. She has a deep appreciation for her parents and all of their help to get her started and travel. She proudly represents sponsors like Draggin' Bags, Triple Play Cornhole, Shot Kings Cornhole, and AZ Wallflower Digital Marketing & Management. Her journey is a testament to youthful enthusiasm and commitment to the game. All residents of Arizona have the chance to compete in the signature cornhole event in the state. There are divisions for all skill levels throughout the five days. Visit arizonastatecornholechampionships.com for more details. **Mark Your Calendars for the 2025 AZSCC Events!**
